Hey everyone, I wanted to get some feedback on my Underwater and rain effects.
Is there anything else I should add or change?

been working on my physics VR system!!

i’ve got a few things implemented right now

  • collider moves with any irl movement, so your camera doesn’t get offset
  • hand / head directional movement, smooth / snap turning, and jumping
  • hands use physics to align with your controllers, so they wont go through walls
  • hand pose system

i hope to get it fully working soon :33

first off: awesome rain and water, i really like it and you’ve done a good job with it, I personally like the speed of the rain coming down and it works well with the environment you’ve gone for. I wouldn’t change anything, not for the time being as I think it works quite well :d

You look like a 5 year old trying to get over the block wondering how to jump

Shoulda flipped us off lmao

People using that are just gonna flip us off

I wish that were the case (lol dont ask), but no, alas, unless the developer adds a special input to do it, you cant actually flip people off :pensive:

Woah this looks great!!

Such things shouldn’t be modelled in blender as one giant object, due to how Roblox calculates collisions.

you should model sections separately and then use parts to make the collisions

less vertices for roblox to load per mesh, and roblox does collisions in a really unoptimized way that also just results in it being weird.

When you post something somewhere, you should be ready that someone comments.
I can’t get into your head and know, what you wanted with that post - just showcase something, or mb wait for “wow, cool!” commentaries.
I said all now, then.

This thread didn’t get enough replies to warrant a new one. You all just want to be the first to reply to get a ton of likes.

Making my first horror game in roblox, it’s an early prototype, just wanna get some feedback before i make the models and animations, also there’s an annoying bug where you get sent flying for no reason. I’ve been trying to figure out how to fix it.

I got my grid based inventory / hotbar system set up finally!
It doesn’t support rotations, because that kinda ruins it, ya know? If i have rotations, that lowers the amount of combinations i can have by about a third.
Here’s a pic.

The right frame is the inventory, where you can hold stuff.
The bottom is the hotbar.
The top is the recieved frame, basically when you trade, pick up items, this will open, and you will have to put it somewhere in your inventory. Because if it did it automatically, it takes away some of the fun, no? And I want to have as little performance impact as i possibly can.

There’s still a few features I need to add to make it visible/ drop items you don’t add onto the ground, but other than that, it works great!

I can show a video if you guys want.

  • I want video now.
  • I want a video when you finish adding the new features.
  • I don’t really care.

Making some zombie animations for a little game I’m making for a school project. Also it would be nice if anyone left some constructive criticism on the animations!
