Those who play combat games on Roblox,
do you prefer true stun or non true stun combat? If you don’t know what true stun combat is, it is basically once you get hit a single time you cannot move or perform a action for a short time that most likely leads into another attack/combo. (Battleground Combat in a nutshell)
what are your thoughts on parry combat? As many may hate it for the aspect of needing good ping for it to function well and not done well in most games.
pls share as i am trying to make my game skillful but yet fun at the same time.

I’d say it depends on the game’s combat.
In a game where attacks can go off back-to-back in 2 seconds, being unable to do anything because I got hit once is annoying.
In a game where each attack is meant to be carefully considered and prepared, stunning players for a bit can be rewarding to the attacker and encourages being skillful.
For parrying, I think it’s interesting but harder to implement. How it differentiates from a block, dodge, attack, and stun decides whether it’s a worthwhile mechanic or not.
