Hello everyone! I’m making a game called The Adventure of Nooblet and I’m wondering should I go with a top-down style camera or just your average default camera?

Well, it really depends of the gameplay tbh. Can we get some insight please
I’ve been with this project for a long time, and I think you should keep the top down camera. Even though it isn’t a Legend of Zelda game anymore, I think you should keep the camera that way.
If you want opinions on something you need to provide more information about the game - maybe some screenshots, the art style, A / B examples of what your game looks like in both perspectives.
Also, what mechanics does your game utilize?
Is there any shooting mechanics? - Does the player ever need to hit a vertically challenged target?
If there’s sword skills or some sort of defensive system, do players need to face an attack to defend themselves?
For example - a driving game is much more difficult in a top down perspective (micro machines) - so a traditional free perspective camera is often used (GTA 5).
I would say that you should go with top down camera judging by these photos.
i have great idea. Maybe make player toggle camera, Because everyone likes differently
