so, my game that has development starting yesterday has got some pretty good work done. but the thing is, i need ideas. currently the tutorials dont work for now but that’s because im more focusing on the gui. I feel like the sidebar is pretty empty but I don’t know what to add
Maybe if the user manage to learn most of the simple LUA(U), you should probably give them a challenge to make a simple game what they learned and you should also probably give them a reward, I would actually say to give them a literal UGC item since ROBLOX will allow games to give you UGC’s via badges.
For the UGC reward, if you aren’t a person within the UGC program, try hiring someone. Otherwise, you’re game is quite good.
Hey! I didn’t think of a reward system, I might actually add this (with the exception of a UGC and instead doing an in-game currency that can be used to buy power ups like hints etc)
Hello! You said your sidebar is a bit empty so here are some of my ideas
Add a credits gui
-When you open it, the gui will show usernames of people who have contributed to the game in any way. Example: Game thumbnail, scripting, modeling, etc.
Add a donation gui
-When opening the gui, the player will be greeted with 4 different options of robux that they can donate using developer products.
Example: 10 robux, 50 robux, 100, etc
Fonts too cartoony and way too fart, i mean large. Everything is too boring and grey and it seems like you haven’t found the right balance since the colourful buttons are far too bright. The icons don’t seem to me as scaled equally. The music information should be on a separate tab for settings and I really don’t see how the player icon helps. To me, it’s clogging up the screen. I don’t want to see what I look like. In the off case I do, I will just check my profile. Definitely get rid of the top right coreUI thing. Theres no reason to see leaderstats or whatever.
I like how the UI tweens but the menu is just clogged up and it feels like a mess navigating. Also theres a bug, if you begin the ‘Print’ lesson- you can’t actually switch UI. Or is this a feature?
