You shouldn’t outline the guns with a black outline, when the background is black, you should change the color of that. Also maybe with the text too, so it is easier to read.
Ok, thanks for letting me know. Next time I’ll keep in mind not to make that same mistake.
It looks good already if you’re wanting to improve it you could make it fit the “Dual” concept if you search any type of logo with the text you’ve chosen, you’ll see it fits the theme of the game the font doesn’t look good in my opinion. Try finding a Dual font that would look good, however that is my opinion you could take this however you like.
I just don’t think the background fits the design, perhaps go for a lighter scene so the font and outlines around the gun will be a little more noticeable.
The effects put into the background look a little here and there on the end, but other than that I’m assuming you should include a more better font if you look at actual logos that include the word “Dual” you’ll see it holds a proper font design and a better concept with effects making the image pop however it depends on whatever approach you’re going for.

For me, I would remove the black outline on the guns and brighten the text.

Also, what would you recommend for a background. That’s my main issue.
Depends if it fits the gun theme if you’re wanting to keep it black that’s good since it’s just a practical design for (fun). Like I mentioned, above it really comes down whatever approach you’re going for, the fire flares in the background look here and there you might want to experiment into adding actual effects and bring the font close to the gun so it’ll match.
For example, the image attached above, gives players a little appearance on what the game is about, you’ll see everything stick together in the center with a lighter color choice. Similarly, you could leave the background how it is. It doesn’t need to look professional or advanced create with your own abilities, in order to see what the end result brings you.
