What can I do better?

Hello!
This is my second post relating to this game, but I’m looking for more specific feedback this time.

I’m currently making a first-person dodgeball parkour game.
I’m mainly looking for feedback on:

  • Mechanics
  • UI
  • Sounds
  • Lobby layout

Here’s the game [now closed]:
Dodgebrawl [SOON :star:] - Roblox

Don’t worry too much about the actual round system - It has a 2+ Player Requirement.
Please be critical - Even on the tiniest of things!
Any and all feedback is appreciated!

Hey there! I just played your game (not properly because no one else was in the game) so here are my thoughts.

  • The low res images on the loading screen aren’t cutting it bro.
Try improving the resolution or implement some of the games thumbnails.

*The map needs to be improved.
The Tall grass towers arent great. The realistic roblox grass texture along with the low poly build style isn’t the best.

In conclusion, I can’t say much about the game because I had no one to play with. However, the lobby and the loading screen are just some of the few things that proabably needs to be worked on just a bit more.

Thanks!

The games UI is quite basic, there is no other activities you can do while waiting for other people to join the game. You can use the ball in the lobby. The images for the loading screen are really bad quality.

That’s all from me I hope this helps!

Appreciate the feedback. I’m aware of the loading screen images, I’m just not sure how to fix them… I don’t know how to set the quality of screenshots. As for the lobby, I’ll try to change it up a bit. Thanks again!

Update: Screenshots fixed  just took a screenshot using a larger portion of my screen.

Like I said above, I’ll have a look at the images  . There is a training area in the lobby, but I get it might not be the best in terms of entertainment. Thanks for the feedback!

I don’t like the fact that its payed-access, makes less people join

No, it wasn’t paid access when I released it for feedback. It has been 12 days now, and I closed the game because I didn’t want to publicly release it yet. It was open when I was looking for more feedback, and it won’t be paid access on release.

Thanks for checking this topic out though, no hate intended
