What can I improve/add in my pizza game? (SUPER NEEDED ADVICE)

Hello, I’m making a game about working in an Italian pizzeria called Zany Pizzeria, It’s been about 6 months since development started. Now you’re probably thinking of Work At A Pizza place by now, but it’s a little different. The gameplay is more focused on making the pizza rather than the things surrounding it, and the main focal point is about competition rather than teamwork, but it also does include teamwork. It’s like a teamwork game in a competitive environment.

For some more context, I’d say the game is about 80% done, as it doesn’t have any badges, the daily quests do not work, the cosmetics do not work either, there aren’t any leaderboards, or a tutorial. So don’t bother recommending those features.

So please, if you’ve got time, don’t be shy, play the test place and leave some about some things that feel just a tad bit unfair, buggy, difficult, or unprofessional.

Here are some images of the game:

This pizza game looks GREAT! I like the style of it! Great job on this! I’d say it’s good to be released!

Thanks man! But I still have a feeling that it still has heaps of content to be added and changed. That’s why I made this topic.

Love the game! One suggestion I have is to add indicators in the dialogue windows and the end of cooking interactions so the player knows to click to exit. Other than that, I had a good time playing!

Nice game I really like the style of the game overall and the light bits of humour integrated is cool to see!
One thing from me is the lighting which I think needs quite a bit of work and I’m not really a fan of the just light everything vibe I feel like the game would be a lot more atmospheric with lights place around properly etc.

Other than that I’m sure more will be fleshed out as the game progresses good job!

Alright, I’ll definitely look into that advice, I do agree with you a lot though, I tried adding a bloom effect to make it look a bit better since I barely know anything about post processing and lighting effects, so I’ll look into it and try to improve the lighting of the game. Thanks!

No problem I would say start with placing physical lights around the place and then adjust the games post processing etc after uve done that so you can match it with the lighting rather than do it the opposite.
As a few ideas maybe some cooler strip lights in the kitchen with warmer restaurant lights in the main customer area.

Alright, thanks a lot for the advice, I’ve implemented some lights now that I’m pretty proud of, I haven’t published it yet, though.
