I’ve been working on a game loosely referencing SCP-610, with the ability for users to infect one another, causing:
All of the parts belong to their character turning bright red
Red spheres appearing randomly over there character, designed to depict warts / pustules
When I’m filling out the new experience questionnaire rolled out by ROBLOX, should I be considering this as blood, due to the colour of the parts being added to the character?
Sorry for the trivial question, thought it better to be safe rather than sorry.
Infection of a red color to me sounds like blood… with children, always error on the side of caution. I would consider it blood and let roblox decide which age is appropriate. Last thing you want is a kid or a parent terrified of your game and leaving you a thumbs down for not being cautioned. Thats my two cents.
It depends on how realistic the blood actually is. I’d recommend you play it safe and try to create blood/flesh that is not considered very lifelike and is more cartoon-like just to avoid deletion of your game. Take for example the hundreds of “Infection”-type experiences in Roblox.
Following that, I believe you should mention that your experience contains blood inside the experience questionnaire. That’s the most appropriate thing to do and seems right.
Personally, I’d also recommend you contact Roblox. I am sure they will be more than happy to assist you.
In my opinion it doesn’t really look like blood, but if you’re not sure and idea would be(idk i suck at design), to make the bubbles larger? That would possibly make it look even less like blood, even though it’s already far from it, imo
Edit: as long as it doesnt represent it, i think you’ll be fine
