This is an outdated post, the entire concept has changed to provide a more unique shopping experience on roblox.

– 09/2/21 –
I am working on a clothing store - The theme is modern also wooden. Of course I’m going to be adding trees/grass/scenery. Are the modern windows alright and what colour is best for glass?
What could I improve or add?

glass color should be like light blue? also, turn decoration on for terrain. the modern windows are fine

Well, That wooden thing on the side feels… off.

Thats the donation board, Im planning of moving it later.

change the terrain color because it looks a bit dark.
Maybe add terrain decoration (it just makes it look better but its up to you)
Maybe add some slants to your build
Also change the color of the glass?

The window should definitely be the “glass” MATERIAL, and some dark grey color! Light blue doesn’t look that great. Everything else is fine. Great start!

change it to like light purple maybe. I dont have a pic of “Slanted” cuz i dont have the build r now.

also you might want to make it bigger depending on how many “racks” your going to hold.

I think that the terrain should be different. If you want to change the color, have properties and explorer open, click terrain in explorer, then click expand in properties, and you can change the color. You aren’t limited only to roblox default colors too! If you have an HTML code for a color, you can add that color in too!

Btw this also works with normal parts, it’s just slightly different.

The terrain is the standard Roblox baseplate or do you mean something else?

I see that there’s the standard green terrain that your clothing store is on. You can change the color and texture of it to better suit your style.
