Heyo everyone! 
Many people in the Roblox community have made something innovated which brings some competition, then sometimes the competition goes bigger and becomes a trend!
Game trend history (disclaimer: I don’t know the full history but I tried to get as much information as I can).
During 2017, the word ‘Simulator’ became a big trend and it is kind of still going on today. But, this was a really big trend since so many ideas came out of their heads, some are good, and some are on the kinda good side.
Games like Bee Swarm Simulator (created by Onnet), Mining Simulator (created by Rumble Studios.) or Pet Simulator (created by BIG Games Simulators) have been great and creative games that I loved years ago and loved by many of you all aswell.
However, people have ran out of ideas and made simulator name ideas that are completely random, but I guess they make some money which is good.
During 2018, I have no idea what was trending at this moment, sorry. 
During 2019, in the beginning of the year, a short trend happened involving the game, Dungeon Quest (created by VCaffy and many other people). That game got trending for a short while but it died out since some other trends came out on the front page. Games that follow this trend are Treasure Quest (created by Nosniy Games™), Rumble Quest (created by Rumble Studios.) and Adventure Up! (created by Ready, set, play!). They have made pretty good games following that concept which is pretty good, gotta love a good ol’ RPG game

Around 2019, Story games have went massive because you can earn money from such a minimal game. However some games have went over minimal such as Time Travel Adventures (created by Splitting Point Studios) by creating up to 7 different stories with it’s own historical event and made their imagination go wild. Another good one is Break In (created by Cracky4 and the team behind it) made different types of ways to find a different endings which does give me a bit of nostalgia from the Henry Stickman series when there are different techniques to get an ending.
2020 has finally arrived. New decade, new year, new games. Also the year when Adopt Me! (created by DreamCraft) hit a world-record breaking 1M+ CCU. At the moment they are undefeatable.
However, Adopt Me! isn’t the trend going on right now that is going big. Another minimal game that has a high CCU, Piggy (created by Minitoon and the team behind it) scored big during release and today. Some games was heavily inspired by Piggy, some are maybe copied. But, there are some significant games which followed the idea like JERRY (created by Team NotIceCream) has very good ideas and it makes it so unique and the detail is spot on which really makes it stand out from the rest, Guesty (created by NK Studio) is really good because the idea of making a killer version of a type of robloxian that got removed is sensational! However, JERRY is my personal favourite (in my opinion.)
Overall we had some good trends and we’re all curious on something. What will be the next game trend on the Roblox Platform?
