What do you think about this thumbnail?

No need to go so harsh I just started making game icons :no_mouth:

By definition there’s no difference.

Ok and? Why does it matter?

I wonder why…

I’m not sure what devforum you’re posting on, but this one isn’t a place where you just criticize and make fun of someone’s work, especially if they’re new. Go touch some grass.

Explain how I was “making fun” of it.

I was pointing out the issues with it

KEYWORD: BEGINNER. DO NOT DISCOURAGE.
The way you presented your comment was quite honestly demotivating. You used words that felt like bullets, with your comment being the gun.
If I was sent that comment, I’d be demoralized to continue. You can try to apologize for harsh feedback, but it looks like you went absolutely merciless on a beginner.
Solution:
Show your feedback in a more friendly/presentable way. I can see that you were pointing out the issues, but that was easily mistaken as making fun of a person. Prevent future arguments by changing your wording. That’s all I have to say. Nobody wants a seemingly angry person harshly commenting on their work.

To me, this implies that you’re laughing at the use of a Roblox screenshot.

I’d be laughing at this response if it wasn’t trying to cover up something incredibly harsh.

Nothing in your last reply is pointing out anything. You’re blatantly insulting this persons work.

You state no ways how to improve this or what could be changed, this is just being completely rude and pessimistic.

@InPhulze, you were being pretty rude there. When you said “Pretty bad.” it was pretty harsh, that’s not one way you can give feedback. You also mentioned it saying “looks awful” that also isn’t a way to give feedback.

If I were being honest, I’d give it a 8/10. He’s pretty good for a beginner, and I was no where near his level when I started making thumbnails.

YOUR RESPONSE:
0/10, rude.
