Couldn’t have agreed more, there’s a remarkable difference between simplicity and bland.

Being honest here, this is incredibly bland.

It’s good experience for a new developer, and while it’s great that you’re trying to be better, you’re gonna need to add a bit more detail than a few blocks if you want to be better.

I build my version of Hibachi grill:





Try to play with materials.

I did no mat. for a reason because i’m doing a low poly map so I wanted it to fit in with the smooth mat.

Low-poly doesn’t always mean lack of materials.

I think you should at least play around with the color and lighting so your build doesn’t look extremely bland, as well as adding more detail.
