What do you think of my survival game Stranded?

Hello ,I’m Working On A Survival Game and I Want to Know What You Think?

[Raft Survival (Beta) - Roblox]

Note : The Game Is Still In Early Development So if There’s Any Bugs Tell Me
The UI Probably won’t be scaled for mobile yet.

lol, Well that explains it mb one sec

So I played the game, and the UI/GUIs aren’t that good, try making it better, they seem simple and not styled that good. Also you can’t do much and its not scaled correctly for me. I do however like the trees, very stylistic in a nice way.

Feels like a bad copy of booga booga with no starting tools, animations, or generally any original models, but with a bit of work i think that this could be a good game but it feels as if it was just slapped together.

Well all everything is made by me but I can work on that but thanks. Also it’s my first real game so it probably won’t be that good

This game is a good start, but it needs a lot of work before it will be fully functional. Putting aside what others have already said, here are the main things I noticed:

  • Consider whether a more freeform crafting system would better suit the game. By this I mean that the player could insert components into slots to see what they create instead of scrolling through a list of tools and their recipes. This could be helpful as the number of items in the game increases, and would provide an extra challenge of figuring out how to craft certain items. This is only an idea; it may not be what you are going for.
  • When I crafted the axe, I did not seem to be able to swing it and it did nothing to trees when I touched them or clicked on them. The axe head also collides with blocks, meaning I could get stuck in trees unless I turned my character.
  • Depending on the game’s degree of realism, it might be a good idea to make swimming use stamina like sprinting currently does. This would make it feel much more like the player was trapped on the spawn island.

I actually quite like the game’s lack of hand holding at this point; it makes it feel much more like a survival situation. Additionally, with the very little that’s finished right now, it still has the potential to become quite different from the many Roblox survival games before it. Good luck on the project.

You didn’t put an if statement for gameProcessedEvent for userinputservice, so menus open when chatting.

It’s a nice idea, the inventory doesn’t work when you click e, sometimes the shake tree gui moves all the way to the water.

Also, work on maybe more items spawning on the ground.
