I released nom nom on Christmas since starting to learn Lua in October. I am proud I’ve been so consistent with programming and want to make sure I make a game people like .
I’ve spent 15k in sponsorships, split evenly over Christmas, last Saturday, and today. Unfortunately the data I am getting is not compelling - average play time is around 2.5 minutes, I’ve made a whopping 54 robux, and this is with testing and updating it since release (I’ve put in 20 hours a week on it since late-November).
I’m starting to wonder if it is even worth continuing to work on the project - I have a lot of robux to advertise it, but I don’t want to mass-advertise a project that is doomed to fail.
Do you think it has potential to be a popular game and I should keep working on it?
