I’m making a game called Side Road. Its made entirely in studio. I’m trying to bring over the experience of a road trip in the middle of nowhere, to Roblox. As you drive, you’ll find motels, shops, and interesting characters.
Heres some screenshots:
I’d say, pretty simple. The chairs look like boxes and the sign text is like, waaaay to smol. The sign frame should not be sticking out like that.
It’s not too bad, however, it is indeed a bit simple. The chairs are just boxes and the sign could be bigger.
However, the TV screen seems a bit…weird to me, considering the grey colored part it’s on is sticking out so much, and the employee’s hat isn’t properly alligned.
Speaking of misalignments, the boxes don’t seem properly centered with the table. Same with the top of the table with the base.
Apologies if this seems like a lot to you, but those are some issues I see.
No, no its fine! I’ll keep working on it! Its one of my first builds I’ve taken seriously.
hey there ! I absolutely love the game idea, it could be a good game if you finish through. The build is good but there’s areas it can improve in.
- as all others have said, the chairs. try adding a back to lean on and the legs, it would make it look much more professional
- the grey part of the tv needs to be pushed in, like to the point where you can slightly see it, it’s just not appealing the way it is right now
- the sign needs to be pushed in, it’s way too far out.
- make the text of the sign bigger, it’s a bit hard to see for me.
other than that the build is amazing and I can’t wait for the full game !
It looks great! But, it looks a bit blocky and simple.
Depends on what you were going for. Are you going for a classic kind of style or a realistic kind of style.
Thank you! I’ll make sure to work on this.
Wait, hold on, I don’t get the concept just yet, so basically its about you driving to motels, shops and restaurants, again, again and again?
I would definitely recommend some more improved interior design for your furniture… unless you’re going for a Minecraft them. Other than that, I really love this! Keep up the great work!
