What Do You Think of My New Donation Game? (WIP)
→ Play WIP: Adaptive Scripting Tutorials - Roblox
I’ve been working on a new donation-style game, and yeah —
I know there are already a ton of these on Roblox.
From Pls Donate to betting-based games, the space is crowded.
So What Makes Mine Different?
→ It’s focused on learning — specifically, scripting.
Flex your brain. Get paid for mastering scripting. Build your booth with pure skill.
How It Works
It plays like Pls Donate, but players complete scripting lessons to unlock rewards.
- These lessons grant badges, props, and booth upgrades to flex your mastery.
- Booths are customizable plots using a grid-based building system (not static booths).
- The better your progress, the more attractive and decorated your booth becomes — encouraging more donations.
Core Mechanics
- Scripting course built into the game: players learn and are tested directly inside Roblox.
- Completing lessons gives you hard currency used to customize your plot.
- Earn trophies and flex them at your booth to show you’re a legit developer.
- The goal is to blend skill-building with cosmetic flexing and donation culture.

Donation Scripts (WIP Concept)
One idea I have is to let users write custom code that happens when user’s donate to them.
- they could make a simple part animation with CFrames OR a full blown slot machine!
This helps them use their knowledge in a practical and motivating way.
- I could even offer specific lessons on how to create such items for them to follow to implement into their booth!
2.
Collection System (WIP Concept)
When someone buys an item from another player, it’s added to their collection.
-
Each item has a rarity based on how far the seller has progressed in scripting.
- Bought from a noob? It’s Common.
- Bought before someone becomes a scripting god? It becomes Mythic.
-
You can resell, display, or use items to flex rarity and attract more donations.
→ (like if you “bet” someone will become a scripting god – Its a win/win because it motivates them as people are counting on them + benefits you

What Makes the Learning System Special?
I’m aiming to build a scripting course that’s better than every existing Lua tutorial.
Here’s what it offers:
-
Visual YouTube video for every concept (skip if you want, summary included)
-
Simplified, beginner-friendly docs for each topic. Voice overes with a camera showing physical model examples and sounds.
-
Interactive tasks, including scripting, simulations, and mini-games. All 3D
-
Adaptive testing:
- Struggling? You get easier + more variety.
- Pro? You get harder, deeper questions.
- Based on spaced repetition for long-term mastery
- These tests are done in a 3D trivia like environment to hell gamify the learning. I could even do something like mini skill based lobbies for players to compete againsr each other.
The course doesn’t just teach you scripting — it scales with you and tests your actual knowledge.
