Hey guys! I would like to know what you think about this Idea:
My game isnt really getting many likes and it doesnt have such a big playerbase, so i came up with a idea to fix this problem:
At the end of the Month the best player of the game gets 100 robux.
Will this get me a bigger playerbase?
Please write your thoughts in the comments!
Btw here is my game
The game itself is pretty generic. The name is a little misleading since i thought I was going to be playing a racing game or something. There are a Million âspeed simulatorâ or âsprinting simulatorâ games out there. As a game designer youâve got to know what audience you are aiming at, and what makes your game special. If your game doesnât differentiate itself from other games of the same genre, why would someone play yours compared to the one on the front page. Thatâs just the tip of the iceberg when it comes to this. Next,
Although it sounds good on paper, it actually be quite harmful. You are developing an artificial playerbase, which is most likely going to stem from your prize. This playerbase wont be playing your game because they enjoy it but for the mere reason that you are offering robux. It also doesnât look very good to others. To me it looks like the lack of a niche feature thatâs enough to get players, and that the developer doesnât really know what he/she is doing, so they have to resort to offering robux. Thatâs my opinion at least. To others it might just look like a smart way to get players. Either way, good luck on your game development journey, i hope you succeed, while having fun doing it
Just did a little background check and research and there are some flaws on your âbrandâ that can look pretty unprofessional. First: name and icon dont match
( i heavily doubt this is yours)
This incorrect use of the copyright is the coequal of a person claiming to be CEO of a nonexistent registered company. It looks extremely unprofessional to someone who understands basic business practice. It may sound and look cool to use the terms and symbols of âcopyrightâ, âtrademarkâ, âCEOâ etc, but this is improper use. Take what im saying how youâd like but essentially, there are many factors to why a developer doesnât succeed or the lack of higher tier developers wanting to work with the so called âCEOâ of a roblox group. although these are little nitpicks, as the saying goes, its the little things that matter the most.
EDIT: since this is only just the beginning of your journey, id like to show you that you arent alone.
Hi, that is not allowed, unless your giving the payment in the form of gift cards. Also, instead of focusing on that try making a fun game, I joined the game for a little and it seems similar to tons of other speed simulators, with no unique mechanics and less features and content.
Bad, bad, bad idea. Not only is this going to create a toxic player base and a Pay2Win atmosphere (assuming there is microstransactions), but this is against TOS as well.
