I made a few hallways, and don’t know if they’re any good.
Please rate /10
Also how much could I sell them for?
Thanks!

Hallways
Your Sci-Fi Hallways seem super-realistic and the texturing reflects that statement. The amount of attention to detail put into this work such as the piping and wiring keeps the atmosphere of this build in theme.
Pricing and Rating
I’d give this piece out of 10 a 9.5 and the only reason I am not giving it a ten is that I can see a small area in need of improvement. Near the centre of the hallway on the second and third picture some of the blocks have visible outlines whether this was intentional or not takes away a little in my opinion the slick sci-fi look the build otherwise gives off.
Other than that great work.
I haven’t been around developing as longer as some people but I think this if coupled together with a small sci-fi build, could reach more than 2000+ Robux. But I’m sure it could reach much more than that. But I think I’d trust some other person with pricing
Looks great, It would look better without any texture. Considering this is a Sci-fi build I would suggest a metal type or diamond plate for the floors and the red parts on the walls would look better if they were neon. you could sell it for 10k+ if you are able to make a big structure adding more details. great work though!
another trick, is if you make the red parts neon make them transparent a bit, maybe about 0.3-0.4 it wont kill peoples eyes
I genuinely love builds like this, it’s kinda my thing.
I’d give it an 8.5 out of ten, but of course, this is just a rating from some stranger, so take it with a grain
of salt. I’m going to point out some things that you might like to take into consideration for further development down your hallway building career.
1: Slate Materials are often used in fantasy, medieval, or builds that are intertwined with natural features like rock cliffs and stuff. It’s not often you’d see slate used in a sci fi hallway, especially one with such pronounced industrial features such as this one. If it were in a fancy pants super rich trillionaire’s spaceship or something, then I could see it being there but as a general rule for sci fi hallways and such, try sticking to materials like metal, diamond plate, stuff like that.
2: ** ** The parts are all not on the same level, so different parts are noticable, like the bump at the midsection of the wall, or the angled roof piece. Generally as a rule of thumb, especially for modular builds (which I assume yours is) You want to keep it all on the same level so it looks like a flat part, with no bumps. One of the only times I would advise using different levels especially on a part like that, is if you want to pronounce certain parts of a hallway (connectors for pipes, cable connectors between hallway pieces) this all adds to the realism of the build, and adds to the detail as well.
3: Make it messy! Now I know, this statement sounds weird at first but hear me out. Normally, especially in near-sci-fi realms and such, there is no such thing as a clean space hallway. generally, there is going to be lots of pipes, wires and exposed machinery as function over form is still a thing. For far future kind of builds, I would suggest keeping the clutter to a minimum (unless its an older era ship, but again, this all depends on what youre trying to go for, dystopian sci fi futures can be as messy as you want) but generally, as things progress, we learn different ways to hide the mess, so as is seen in most far-future sci fi things, lots of the machinery and pipes are hidden behind panels, and stuff.
4: And that brings me to my last point. Details. Detailing is a hard concept to fully get the hang of, because too little detail makes a build look bland, but too much detail in one area can ruin an entire build because it distracts from the other features. A rule of thumb I like to use is, is this area something the player looks at often, and is it important to the player? if it doesnt cover either of those, it probably only requires minimal detail to match the other parts of the build, but if a player is going to see it, and if the player interacts or sees that part often, you might want to add a bit of extra detail to highlight certain aspects, say like on a panel covering up an electrical control station, some details could be by having bolts holding on the panels, and a handle, stuff like that. for other areas that dont need to be as detailed, like normal panels that players dont usually care to look at much, just four bolts in each corner are generally needed, to add to the realism factor, but not to go too over board and over detail a small aspect of the entire build.
Now I could write on and on about things to do, but I feel like I’m writing an essay so I’ll hold off for now. Overall, I love your build and your style is definitely unique, and as I said, I’m just some stranger on the internet after all, so don’t take anything that might offend you to heart.
TL;DR:
List of constructive criticisms to help better your building skills in the long run, and make the moolah
Appeciation for a good sci fi post
And some photos of my own sci fi hallway as an example.
I enjoy the concept as a whole, but it lacks craftsmanship. Did you happen to not use snap increments, having it set to 0, while making this? The bricks do not line up at places and leaves it looking rather messy.
Example can be seen here:
The use of the slate material is a bit jarring, being completely out of place. For a sci-fi build I’d recommend sticking towards smooth plastic and the metal materials to achieve the aesthetic because 9 times out of ten those best replicate what is being attempted.
Also, I’d recommend not asking posters to rate your builds “x/10”, as it rather leads to being a magnet towards noncontributing posts. Qualitative critique is always more useful anyways than just asking for a “x/10” anyway.
Loving the details, yet maybe try to use an9ther kind of light source? If not something you could do is add beams to the lights so they simulate a light source, so it adds more detail!
It looks really good and I’d rate it a 9/10.
Maybe add a corridor with a side door on one of the walls that leads to another room or can lead to another corridor.
I think these blue parts might look better if they were red:
I think you could add some more detail to the lights on the roof(eg.):
It’s an amazing sci-fi build and I wish you good luck on your future projects!
Looks really nice, I don’t know if people would want to buy ONLY that because the style is extremely difficult to replicate/implement. I think you should make more of the same assets, increase the price and wait for the right buyer to come along. Just my personal thoughts though.
Reminds me of a space station in a way due to the little circular objects at the ends of the halls that may act as gateways/docks for the ships to dock at. This build is honestly, absolutely amazing in my opinion.
Looks good, if you try smooth plastic it might help.
7/10
