What do you wish was built-in to DataStores?

I’ve known for the longest time that DataStores is a key part of games however can end up becoming a struggle for game developers. I’ve made a developer model ( CLICK HERE ) that tries to simplify the process as much as possible but I’m still wonder in terms of everyone’s perspective…

  • What do you wish was just a built-in feature for DataStores?
  • Do you like what I’ve done so far to try and make DataStores easier?

Would like to know other peoples thought’s

Haven’t tried your model, but from my experience, since datastore requests are very expensive and time-consuming, it would be quite useful to have some higher level interface that would manage caching, storing retrieved player data until it is changed. Although for me it is not a big deal and I just built something similar to that on my own.
