The poses don’t look good and there’s no background
I feel like if you want a decent GFX you need, a good pose, multiple effects in the background, and good background, and a render that goes along with the GFX.
There are several forms of Graphic Design that professional artists use to really sell their message or piece.
It’s important to KNOW what you’re creating and why you’re creating it. This can raise questions such as:
Who is my intended audience?
What would my audience like to see in this design?
How can my message be portrayed while still keeping the design nice?
When you have an avatar holding two knives in front of a gray background, it’s really hard to follow what you’re trying to accomplish or what your game could be about. The only thing we know for certain is that it involves knives, but those who are interested in those type of games might not be intrigued because of the lack of detail and design. Try getting familiar with other programs such as Illustrator or Photoshop (there are many free alternatives) to create more effects that could potentially make your GFX more appealing!!!
Lighting is very important in GFX too. Try playing around with your lighting options, I know Blender has a variety of options when it comes to your lighting
I hope this helped!!
I would suggest a pose that lends itself better to the picture. Right now, the current pose looks awkward and does not make the render look good.
I think you need background first of all, and 100% add some shadows to make it look more realistic.
Maybe change the pose a bit, not trying to be rude but you can try to make it a little better
Poor guy his arm is broken you should.
Instead of rotating the army rotate the hand.
I think adding some text might make it look a tad better, along with a matching background, and playing with lighting effects!
