What Does "Officially Licensed" Mean?

While scrolling through the Roblox app, I noticed that the experience “ONE PIECE GRAND ARENA” not only shows the Experience Guidelines but also displays the label “Officially licensed.” However, there hasn’t been any official announcement about it:

What does this mean for Roblox experiences? Does it imply a partnership between the project’s creators and Roblox? I’d love to hear your thoughts on how licensing works on Roblox and what it could mean for future games.

Thanks!

i think it means that the game is licensed by roblox and can’t be taken down, and its the real deal
like it’s official

Maybe the original authors approved this place on Roblox and that place got license.

“Officially licensed” means they acquired a license to be able to use One Piece IP legally. It’s an official One Piece game.

It is not necessarily a partnership with Roblox. It simply means that the developers or owners of this game legally own the One Piece license and have the right to use all the official names and assets associated with it.

The game description gives us a hint:

©Eiichiro Oda/Shueisha, Toei Animation
©Bandai Namco Entertainment Inc.

This game has been officially licensed by the owners of One Piece (Toei Animation and Bandai Namco).

I think this is pretty self explanatory

If I remember it correctly, this means that the game was made by an official company.
