Server Defender is indeed not the backdoor.
You are able to check the source of the plugin in studio after you installed it.
I think you know how to do this?

And if you didn’t have the issue with Load Character before then it’s probably not that…

Even though the plugin is inactive, the content (all the code and stuff) is most likely still installed. Now I’m not sure if that’s really the case, but keeping inactive and [content deleted] items in your plugins isn’t very clean either. The most secure option is to just remove it.

Even if the plugin is inactive, the code is still there which could still technically interact with the studio.

That’s not how plugins work. If it’s inactive, the code doesn’t run. An inactive plugin does nothing unless you have an actual virus on your computer reactivating it.

Sure that’s what a plugin is supposed to do, but viruses can sometimes run by themselves and even if it doesn’t I think its still better to remove the useless plugin anyways.

Whatever the case, apparently removing it fixed OPs problem so there has to be something there.

That’s completely impossible. You have no idea what you’re talking about. It’s just a .rbxm text file; it can’t access your computer.

the script is all in one line, but essentially all it does is run a bunch of useless math operations and functions; it’s not actually cloning or creating any instances. probably just meant cause lag
