What else should I add to lobby?

Hello everyone!

I’m reposting this to make this topic one of the most recent again since the previous one had no one replying except a guy that complimented but I really need suggestions for this. I could care less if reposting isn’t allowed but I’m not just going to stay there just like that. Anyways, I got the lobby here for my horror game that will revolve around an abandoned amusement park. I can’t think of any more things to add to the lobby that would fill it up a bit more to make it feel less empty. If anyone could give me suggestions on what else I should add I’d happily appreciate it.

maybe add some blood, a broken car and a broken pop corn machine?

I think the biggest reason your lobby feels empty is generally due to the large size. Perhaps you can consider reducing the size a bit. Then you can fill in the spaces a bit more with details or allow the open spaces to have more personality.

If you’d like to keep the size the way it is currently. Then this is something you should work on overtime and not all at once.

Yeah I like it the size that it currently has but I’m referring to like what details here and there should I implement that go with an amusement park theme?

Maybe you could add some Flickering Street lights or some particles. You can also play a bit with the lightning section. Contrast etc.

Well, you have a lot of space there. Why not incorporate a theme park ride directly into the lobby itself?
Also, you usually have entrances, pathways and concession stands at a theme park.

A few other things can include restroom areas, seating, trashcans. The lobby currently looks more like a construction zone at a dam or some sort of water facility other than a theme park. I do like the ferris wheel in the background though.

All of the 5 teleporting booths already have flickering lights, I don’t want to over use that concept.

No like this is a multi-place game, all that extra stuff will be inside the actual game once you choose what chapter you want to teleport to. This is just the lobby that you’re currently looking at that I’m trying to make look like a big abandoned location giving vibes of an amusement park ahead. Thanks for your feedback man, I’ll make sure to use it!

It seems a little to dark, mabey add some lights that are not to bright, and mabey slightly green if you want to give it a more creepy vibe, and with the lights, players will be able to see better, but it will still feel abandoned.

Maybe a few more trees?

Those elevators give me a great idea for my own game so thanks for the inspiration!

Elevator things? No problem by the way!

I am definitely getting Mimic lobby vibes. I don’t really see much that needs to be change other than improving the lighting, but other than that, great job!

Yeah the teleportation booths are a free model that are used by most horror games and also appears in The Mimic.

Maybe put some Avatar in that game.?

May you elaborate on what you mean by “some Avatar”?
