What happened to this audio?

I’ve tried to upload an audio to the library and it got accepted at first, but after some time (~5 minutes) it became “(invalid audio)”.

What does it mean? Did it get corrupted or something? Before it became invalid, I’ve tried to play it in-game, but it sounded like it was a bit distorted, comparing to the original.

I’ve been uploading audios to roblox for a while, but its the first time I’ve encountered this sort of situation. When the audios were being declined for copyright, I’ve been receiving a refund and the audio name was stating: “(removed for copyright)”.

When the audio was getting moderated and considered inappropriate, the name didn’t change and I was getting a warning message, stating why the audio got removed.

When there were problems with the audio file itself, the name didn’t change, and I was receiving a refund with a message like this:

But I’m pretty confused about what happened to this (invalid audio) because I’ve got no callback at all. I didn’t receive any message or warning. Maybe someone here has also encountered a situation like this before?

I’ve also had another similar issue recently, I’ve been trying to upload another audio to roblox, but it got removed for copyright and I didn’t get a refund as I usually do. Do you no longer receive them for the audio that has been rejected due to copyright reasons?

‘Unfortunately, we are not able to play this audio file, even after opening it with VLC.’

I think your audio file is broken
Try re-encoding

Woah, i never seen Roblox refunding players

Yea, it’s pretty nice of them to refund you. At least I now know that it’s possible that my future audios may be refunded if this happens.

Sorry for the post being a bit unclear, I’ve edited it so it’s more understandable now.
The message you mentioned in your answer is an example on how moderation team provided me with information about broken audios before. But this time I didn’t get any message, warning or any other information about invalid audio, so thats why Im confused.
