I think it means that they are no longer maintained and that use of them is not recommended.

I don’t know about that. Depreciation doesn’t guarantee removal, but it might make it more likely.

It basically means that roblox does not update them anymore and they will not fix bugs about them if you find any, unless it poses a security risk. The instances will most likely not get deleted, since they exist for backwards compatibility. Most removed instances are internal instances or removed just a couple of updates after they’ve been added. Most deprecated instances should be usable without the fear of them being removed.
