What improvements could be made to this icon?

An icon is being designed for my game at the moment, and I feel like I’ve got what I want but it would be good to get some feedback from the community.

What would make this icon stand out more? I’ll be adding the name of the game “SHADOWS” in text at the bottom centre, but for now I am trying to figure out what would make this look even better.

Let me know if you have any suggestions!

I definetely recomend adding text below it, decreasing the blur maybe. It seems it really fits your shadow theme. Nice job,

Decrease blur on the killer?

I want to try and keep it as true to the actual killer in game as possible (or make it look even cooler). unfortunately, particle emitters dont render properly, so had to resort to blurring just a standard roblox character… I was thinking maybe making the blurred character darker so it stands out more, but I wasn’t sure.

Ill say decrease a little bit but not to much because it will not look scary if it isn’t blurry…

Not bad I think you should decrease the blur so we can tell what the icon is.

I’d probably decrease the blur a little bit, and then add some darker colour around the outline of the figure. The creature blends into the background a bit too much, so I think adding some contrast would really make it more distinguishable. I really like the colour choice though!!

Hmm, I will say maybe make it a little bit shadowy and also make like some trails on it when it walks it leaves like dark smoke or something like that and make the eyes a TINY bit more red.

I think it looks quite good, you could add the text to the middle, i think that would look nice.

I think it looks good, but I would have to agree with everyone saying to tone down the blur. I would also suggest making the white blur around the character more round like clouds or fog. I also don’t understand what the rows of white floating things are adding to the icon, so possibly you could remove those?
