Like the title says, I’m trying to make my city look more interesting instead having blandly similar copy paste streets.

Try to make one main street that goes through the middle of the city, with smaller ones going out if it, that have different styles, and different curves, ones that are long and ones that are short. For buildings, have different styles as well, and different heights. Buildings with plants, buildings without plants, ones with glass roofs and huge windows,ones with smaller ones ect. Try as best to make a lot of detail, detail can easily fool the mind to forget about the repeating pattern

Hello, the best way to make a city feel much more realistic is to look at real life examples of boroughs or districts from cities, this way you understand the curvature of the roads, how buildings look. For the layout, having gridded city is much more representative of United States planning due to how land was sold and was made to be much more convinient (eg: like Brooklyn), while almost all european cities have some kind of sprawl that at first glance can seem like a weird cluster, you can quickly understand that alot of the cities come from already existing towns and they sprawled in all kinds of areas and absorved other towns with it, those cities would focus more on being much more fluid and use more roundabouts, a great example of this is London.
For the actual buildings, alot of areas will have similar styled when it comes to residential, this means that you can take a preexisting model and alter the roof and layout slightly with some coloring and texturing and with little effort each house/block can look unique.
Distribution of buildings is all dependent on the infrastructure that needs to be put in place and requirements, I highly suggest you look into urban planning for this as I am nowhere of an expert on this so I cannot really tell you much about this.
