So I’m the last few days I saw a lot of posts with the word “Intellisense”, at first I thought they were misspelling “Intelligence”, but this seems to not be the case, my question is:
What is Intellisense?!
I’m still trying to figure out what this is and what it does, thansk for helping me!
From what I’ve seen it seems that “Intellisense” is the extra info on the side of the script autocorrect.
(This thing)
Though I may be entirely wrong.
I’m just basing this on how people are using the word but it’s pretty confusing.
Reading this may help?
The thing that is like:
(:string?, .., :number)
Yeah I’m pretty sure it’s generally just any extra info that shows up while you’re scripting
I’ll wait for others to confirm this and if it’s true I’ll give you the Solution
Intellisense just fills in the blanks for you.
It’s like playing golf but someone holds your hand and guides you through

You can check the thread linked above because it has some very good descriptions of intellisense
A little more than that but simplified, sure.
Okay thanks!
Finally I found the meaning of that word, I always though it was people misspelling “Intelligence”, it after a few days of seeing it I understood it could t be a typo
Wow I only just realised intellisense is “intelligence” and “sense” combined into one word. I learnt something here too, lol
Never actually thought about that, you are genius! This is mind-blowing (not sarcasm)
Hey guys! I guess that’s it =3
It’s a lot of convenient features such as autofill and information about the classes and functions you’re working with. It’s actually Microsoft’s trademark for this set of features in Visual Studio, but I don’t think anyone cares. It’s an easy name to say when you need to refer to all of those features.
Oh okay, cool, now I actually know the name of that which I rely on for autofill
Intellisense is the real name for the autocomplete menu (I think)
