My associate doesnât use roblox outside of uploading assets, and really does not care about what happens to their account. If anything it will be good leverage/talking points for time to come, if Robloxâs incompetent automatic moderation deals such a heavy hand.
At this point theyâre going to blank out the entire nutrition facts and barcode, but eventually weâll have to experiment with adding them back in, in different variations, to get as much out of it as we can.

I promise you this is just going to result in your account being permanently terminated. You say that the person uploading the assets doesnât care about their account, but assuming you are the group/experience holder, itâs your account that will be banned once/if youâre able to bypass it and get it into a published experience.
Just do a google search âAre barcodes/QR codes allowed in Robloxâ and youâll see years worth of posts by people getting banned for the exact same thing. Itâs extremely easy to have a barcode or QR code show/redirect a user to something inappropriate or malicious and I doubt Roblox is ever going to allow them. That would mean manually checking every single barcode thatâs uploaded. Itâs such a small detail to risk getting terminated for.
You can just read the rest of the post youâre replying to, you know? It doesnât particularly matter if the account uploading these gets banned. Power to roblox if thatâs their objective to ban me.
As far as I know, you cannot upload images onto the platform.
It wonât halt our development, but it sure does get close to doing so.
The reason why itâs triggering an account warning is because the UV map isnât very optimized and thereâs black space in it. Roblox doesnât allow solid color images, and this could very well be interpreted as one:

The reason of off-site link of âany kindâ is probably because of the texture containing a barcode.
I donât believe the Support requires to investigate to what specific website it leads to and it led to this situation.
If you believe youâve been wrongly warned, you should contact Roblox Support for further investigation. I believe they can restore your asset back and remove your listed warning you have in your account.
Itâs not very complicated. Both barcodes and QR codes are prohibited since they can be scanned and lead to external scam sites or other dangerous things
This is why most developers use alt accounts to upload assets like Audio or Images, you never know when they might see it as inappropriate and get your account banned.

Appeals are known to do nothing - an appeal was filed and the 7 day bans were upheld, but unfortunately with no additional information provided. Most likely a completely automated Appeals response, knowing how appeals go.
Itâs kind of scary how accepting of this fact developers are at this point. Itâs quite sadâŚ

the wildest ban in my entire life it is i got ban 7 days for upload windows vista just one uncensored text it is email
Does anyone know what happens if these assets get uploaded to a group game?
Do punishments go to the group, or carry over to whomever uploaded it to the group?

i think it goes to who ever uploads it becuse the asset sticks to the uploaders account
