What is roblox's stance on "spin for powers" games?

A lot of anime games do this thing where the “class” you have is determined by spinning with a limited amount of tries. These tries can be purchased with robux and usually be obtained in game. It is borderline gambling.

I want to use something similar to this, as I want some players to have certain things others do not completely arbitrarily to add diversity, right from the get-go. I also want to use this as a way to monetize my game as I need funding in order to bring on devs other than me.

I’m concerned that this could get me in trouble as I am unsure of Roblox’s stance on this. Is this a bad idea? Any more player friendly alternative to achieving this goal?

I think Rogue Lineage has something similar to this, the first try you get is free and if you want to switch, you either pay or reach some certain level (not sure). I don’t think it’s against the rules. Although choosing a class right off the bat with robux might seem like a rip-off, if that’s your intention.

You’ll need to state the odds of the player getting each class.

This is allowed. Although the wheel MUST never be in your favour. As @Toadiant mentioned, the odds should be stated. Other then that it should be fine. If you’re unsure check Heroes Online they have something similar with ‘quirks’
