It is essentially the lowest priority animation, so like if there is any other animations going on, it will never do anything…

What would I use if I wanted to make an animation that played while you were walking but not jumping, and also idle?

For walking and anything in general, set it always to action. If you trying to make for different things, I recommend making it movemer, and then making the jump animation in player’s priority set to action, I have never tried it, I am just theorizing, but it will require a bit of scripting.
