What is the difference between automatic and manual graphics mode?

I want to know what happens behind the scenes when you adjust the graphics mode. What is the difference between Automatic and Manual.

Reason why I am asking this because a recent update in optimization for House Tycoon Game.
https://www.roblox.com/games/4109933355/OPTIMIZED-House-Tycoon

I made Streaming Enabled to work, and I added a change where it loads in models by just showing or hiding its transparency based on which angle you are from the house.

Before we hid and showed the houses based on the user graphics bar.

An Ipad users game crashed when his graphics mode was set on manual bar 1.
But when he sets it to Automatic it didn’t crash.

So does Automatic do something with Streaming Enabled
Or does it only change the graphics level bars based on the fps of the game?

So basically, automatic graphics just has Roblox change how powerful the graphics are based on your computer or device if you are in a game or experience

Manuel graphics is choosing how high you want the graphics to be yourself and Roblox does not change the graphics.

So Automatic only controls the graphics bar level. It doesn’t do anything else?

I just talked to that user he says now it crashed on both Automatic and Manual. So I assume Automatic does what I think you said and that is controls the Graphics level for you.

You don’t control the bar on automatic, roblox just estimates how the graphics should be to help run the game on your device.

You control the manuel graphics

so yes that is correct that it controls it for you
