What is the fps/keyframe ratio for walking animations?

You can write your topic however you want, but you need to answer these questions:

  1. What do you want to achieve? Keep it simple and clear!

I want to find out how many keyframes at, for example, 60 fps, should each footstep happen for a walking animation.

  1. What is the issue? Include enough details if possible!

Maybe I’m just going crazy but I swear there’s foot sliding and such, and I don’t see anybody else talk about this.

  1. What solutions have you thought of so far?

I have searched around yet found nobody asking this.

After that, you should include more details if you have any. Try to make your topic as descriptive as possible, so that it’s easier for people to help you!

Currently I have a walk animation with 40 keyframes at 60 fps, with a footstep at 0, 20, and 40.
When walking, there is footsliding, and it becomes more obvious when the walkspeed is set to 1.

Hey ik im a bit late, however Iv’e had this issue before, the fix I found was play around with the timings of the Keyframes and the roblox walk speed.
