What is the pixels for a group icon?

I’m trying to make a logo design for a group, but I’m not sure what the group icon pixels are. Can someone tell me?

256 x 256 (30 chars 30 chars)

It is 256x256 pixels, but higher pixel images are rescaled to fit. So I’d recommend going 800x800 as you get higher quality.

In music, everyone is required at least 1000x1000 pixels for album covers. As it is bigger meaning more quality. Using 1000 has just become a habit for me. I suggest using that.
