When i select the scale tool, the “balls” are aligned perfectly with the edges of the part like this:
But when i use the move tool, the arrows group up in the middle of the part instead of the edges like this:
Is this normal and can i make it so the move tool is like the scale tool, in the edges of the part?
It’s been that way for years and it is normal. There are no studio settings that change this effect, but there are probably plugins that replicate the move arrows but are relevantly placed on the sides of the currently selected part, although they would be artificial move arrows that might not behave the same as naive move arrows.
Yes, under Studio Settings under File… change this setting by ticking the box:
Use Bounding Box Move Handles should be checked.
