With regards to knowledge on how games work with population I always found daycare games will pull in the most player counts, cafes and bakeries do great yeah.
However if we take example from most games from the past to now, it’s always been the “Adopt Me”
styled game being the most dominant ones.
This is just my suggestion and opinion, hope it can help with your decision making!
The biggest mistake I’ve made in the past is making a game that i’d enjoy…
I have now changed that to > What game would the main demographic I am targeting enjoy?
So I think ask yourself that question and it can help, the cafes and bakeries might more be appealing to elder teens who like to hang out, however those daycare games are bombarded with almost all age groups.
And why not possibly combine some? Make it where there is a cafe, bakery and a daycare! 3 jobs. Now that sounds fun…
