According to a post I read, a way to come up with game ideas is to analyze what the people want, and since I’m having a tough time coming up with ideas, i thought I’d make a little poll on narrowing it down. As a beginner, I’d like to do something simple, but something fun and engaging.

(Sorry I wiped the 2nd poll, I added roleplay)
There’s many games that combine puzzles, story, adventure and combat in one package, so perhaps you could’ve chosen something more specific like game genres instead of game features.
Man I always love a nice horror game. Good ones are always extremely well made and tend to be very polished.
I have yet to see any good SCI-FI horrors and there are a ton of cool concepts that can be made for them.
I wouldn’t recommend doing anything based off these statistics, we are a community of developers we want games which are unique to everything else, potentially more challenging then the average and less cartoony then most roblox games.
While this is ok if your marketing to developers, we are a minority on roblox and therefor all this data will show is what a very small portion of the roblox player base wants.
What im saying is that your consumer panel is inaccurate, if you have friends who are not developers / siblings / random people in roblox games ask them that poll and see what they think, this will give more accurate feedback
There’s not many heavily story involved games in Roblox, I’m not talking about just normal games with plots I’m talking last of Us levels of storytelling. It’l be interesting to maybe see a detective trying to solve a crime that takes over his life or something similar that leans into the supernatural.
Anything original. Honestly. I’d like to see more of those. As long as you got a unique concept, I would play it anyday. But the majority of Roblox’s child player base may disagree. But hey, test your mouse sim can get a couple hundred clicks
