When my game gets searched on Roblox it is very far from the top… Do visits, likes and favourites increase the chances of my game being on the top of the list when being searched for?

From my own experience, the more players are playing your game, more higher you are in the search list. Also if you will have enough player like idk, mby 2k active you could get into Discover (Trending) page. Also if there is any other game that has similar name an similar number of players, the first one is choosen by most place visits. I dont know if iam not telling some disinformation, iam telling it from my own experience.

Nobody really knows how roblox picks the order of the games in the search.
But there are people who developed strategies. (I dont know them)
My game has 250 players and is still not really high on the search.
Btw, the search isnt really the key for success, most players dont search for games, they just see them on their home page.
It’s probably a mix of like ratio, visits, players, visit length.
Tip: Have a very good game icon.
One method you can use is to use very general words for the search, words that you imagine are related to your game and that kids (naive to the fact that the roblox search engine is not google levels of complex) would find from just looking.
Let’s say you’re making a game about sci fi space wars, star wars kind of stuff, you know? If you were to call your name “Nova Hyper”, people, kids, would have to search for the words NOVA HYPER, which doesnt really sound like something they would look for. Even less for something like “Dexa spacix cadetex” I dont even imagine myself looking for that stuff.
Instead, if your game was really simple, like “space”, a kid would just type Space in the search bar and look at that! there you are!. Of course, you would need to have a moderate amount of players in and some visits to be higher on the top, but a name like space gets you higher on the list than dropping a ball on the keyboard and getting your game’s name.
Now, If everyone suddenly started doing the same thing, it’ll be the superhero syndrome, where if you’re outstanding over everyone, people recognize you, but if everyone is outstanding, nobody is.
