I’m planning to clean up the look of the liquid inside the containers, add bubbles inside the containers, add more Robloxians, and add wires but I want to know what else I should add before I work on the color scheme, textures, and lighting.
It’s very difficult to see what’s going on due to the amount of pink, but when it comes to GFX you want to try and fill up empty spaces such as in the bottom right corner. Possibly more computers or some sort of fuse box.
-I would personally add more background objects like more computers, electronics, or wires that would not interrupt the foreground of the gfx. Having a computer set up only on the left side makes the right side lacking and a blank space with a lot of creative potential.
-If you want to, you could even add more clutter that isn’t distracting to the main image you want the viewer to see. This could included bundled up wires laid across the floor, or books/lab notes scattered beside the computers.
-Also as someone previously stated, adding some sort of glow to the electronics (not distracting to the foreground of the build) would add some depth
I hope you enjoyed my feedback and critique. You have a lot of promise and good luck on your build!
I think you should clear up the image a bit (less pink) and make the neon a little bit less bright. You can do this by changing the transparency of the neon parts to .1 or .2, so it isn’t visibly translucent but is easier to look at. A glow on the computer screen would look nice too in my opinion.
I feel like most of the details planned out will look adequate within the build, the fact that a proper color pallet would be chosen to fit the building structure you wish to achieve out of this. Essentially, try adding some chairs, vent’s common details to make the build stand out from a point of view.
Right now, as everything is quite bland and early in development try implementing your ideas and see what the end result brings you. You could always view reference images to get small ideas to add to your current build; make sure the items you add fit the style and theme.
This will make your build look somewhat decent in a kind of way and I would highly recommend using different details througout the build and try not making objects (repetitive). However that is just my overall opinion. Overall not much details aren’t needed in sorting parts so it doesn’t look “cluttered” with random items.
Yes quite well, again there needs to be more detail in the empty areas, such as the bottom right corner, and possibly some detail on the walls on the left and right side. As well as texture on the floor and or ceiling.
What I find helpful to locate these issues is stepping back from the screen and looking at the image and seeing what stands out and what doesn’t. In this case, it feels as if the computes at the bottom and the containers and such sort of “pop out” to me, and areas that don’t are ones you’d need to work on.
