What plugins do you reccomend for cliff faces?

  • What are you attempting to achieve? (Keep it simple and clear)
I want to get a plugin that makes cliff faces, paths and walls, stuff of that nature. I’ve seen games that use what I’m thinking of, such as deathrun.
  • What is the issue?
I can’t seem to find any plugins that help me make a cliffside. I saw one person using it in a video i watched, where he clicked one side of a part and clicked further away to make a part between them.
  • What solutions have you tried so far?
I’ve considered PowerFill, and I’ve tried F3X but i haven’t seen anything similar to what i’m looking for.

I would use the part to terrain plugin. The part to terrain lets you turn bricks into terrain spots. Its helpful in situations where you can’t get something perfectly or can’t design terrain in a certain level. It can be very good at times when you are struggling when making a certain building or landscape.

Sorry for not clarifying, but I was meaning making terrain out of parts, like deathrun style.

Maybe I am misunderstanding you, but there are like certain shapes that you can build with terrain. Like imagine if you are building a castle and you want some parts to be squared. You could use the square part of the terrain. I myself suck at terrain editing but I often use the part to terrain plugin.

What I mean is building terrain using bricks. It’ll be easier to put into ReplicatedStorage.

Do you mean Stravant’s GapFill or the generic triangle-generation plugin? Those are the first things that come to mind when you say “clicked one side of a part and clicked further away to make a part between them.” Stravant’s GapFill requires two edges of a part to clear a gap, and the triangle generation plugins requires you to click three points.

You can use buildv4 which has a “terrain” tool

Here I have a simple cliff face

Choose this icon and set the rotate increment

Choose the face where you want to add a new part

Now you can rotate the part with the previous part as a pivot point
