What repercussions will the new "metaverse" change have in developing?

I am in desperate need of support at the moment. Roblox is going through a big change and I am really concerned about how that will change the way we script. Will we be required to use experience.Workspace instead of game.Workspace when scripting or some other absurd workarounds? Will all services be replaced with the word Experience instead of the word game?

P.S.: I find this the most appropriate topic but correct me if I’m wrong.

Even though I can’t say I think the change from game to experience is good, I do believe there isn’t much of a problem in changing the scripting variable game. and game: to Experience, it’s not hard to replace as well

If it does change, everything would be backwards compatible, or there would a tonne of notice.

They would not break all games overnight intentionally.

Experience is quite long and some people will struggle with spelling, so place is more likely than game in that situation anyway.

I highly doubt they’d replace such a widely used global. At least, I hope so.
The rebrand seems very sudden to me and it really did catch me off guard, but for all I really dislike the updates I doubt they’d go as far as having us refer to the data model as experience. It would just be inconvenient. Game is 4 letters, it’s much easier to use.

So probably, Roblox is looking to change what the audience sees, and not how the engine will behave in the future. I think that’s a bit shallow, in my opinion, since they have yet to give a clear announcement regarding that rebrand and what changes that will carry.
