I have made Chilled’ Cafe a couple weeks ago but I feel it needs something but can’t put my finger on it so I am asking you guys!!
The exterior looks good! But when you walk inside, it looks quite bland and feels empty.
Make some supporting beams and walls so it feels less like a empty warehouse. I think you should work on the structure of the build more and the color pallet/materials before adding more interior decor
Thanks! ill work on it! I appreciate the help.
Personally, i think the build has a lot of potential but there is a lot of things needing to be improved.
1 Lighting. Yes, game lighting changes the entire theme and atmosphere of a entire build you may think this may only be a 2-5 minute job but if you can get the correct balance between ShadowMap, Ambient, Brightness and colour correction this will 100% improve visual of the game.
2 The space seems so empty. Many successful cafes have something all in common. A simple flow of design, colour and scheme throughout the cafe. There are so many things you can add here which you’re limited to your imagination. Rivers running through, vines, seats, lights, couches, fireplaces, upstairs, industrial venting, plants, patterns and textures.
3 Design the cafe for the amount of players you expect to be coming in. Yes, you can design a very high detail cafe which is large but if it’s supporting for 10-20 players you don’t want them to be scattered. Cafes act as a role play intractable place where members enjoy talking and passing time.
The interior feels too empty. I recommend that you should add more tables and chairs to fill up some parts of the area. Other than that, I think that you should add decorations like some light fixtures, some pots with tall plants and funny or motivational posters around.
The exterior looks nice and doesn’t need to be changed.
