I’m bored so I decided to build something random so I chose a bed. Right now, I am completely stuck and lost what I should change and add. Any ideas would be appreciated! 
The bed is going to be a prison bed.

Well it’s a bed i feel like there isn’t much to really give feedback on because it feels more like a ‘daybed furniture’, prison beds kind of have that home feeling design with different materials and less details.
I’d try creating more than a single model, your build it doesn’t really feature that approach of a bed at the moment it feels like you could at least more wide and length to the bed, perhaps double bed depending on how many people will be in one cell. I can also consider using images more structure to add a more better approach even if you’re going for a simplistic look.
There isn’t much that could be said on a simple model. You could try producing something larger or more models something that’s worth giving feedback on.

I was planning to add 2 beds into each cell or maybe go with a bunk bed. Either way, I agree with what you’re saying. I will try my best to fix up the bed by throwing some textures or changing the material up. The size, I don’t really understand because, I tested it with a roblox avatar and the size was okay, the bed was a bit too big with the weight but the avatar would fit, no feet hanging out, arms hanging out, etc. Anyway, I will try to fix the size of the bed.

The reason why I said add more length and width to the bed, is because to give it more realism the model you’ve made if the proportion is lined up with each other I feel you can absolutely use that method in the near future or if you plan on making different bed type.
If you are going to keep it like this, I highly recommend adding more features to it or creating another variety of beds, depending on how many user’s will be in one ‘cell’. It can be quite simplistic if that’s what you’re going for you could even add a wall bed, it’s more made from a regular part and unions.
If you plan to create more it may be something you could at least take whatever your using this for.
Ohhhhhh, that’s understandable. Alright, I’ll shorten the bed and try to make it look more real. They’re going to be 2 people in one cell (i’ll try to make it two people) if you’re wandering and if that helps.
