So i hired 2 people to build a map for me in a month (it costed 600 usd or 1k cad for me) they had a extra week because they were waiting for a payment to go through paypal so like a month and 7 extra days but thats getting outa the point. after getting the map i thought this map has alot of empty spots and some stuff dont make sense
and wonder what i should do next so should i hire like some people to fix up the map or make another new map from scratch.
I’m not sure what theme you’re going for but the current map doesn’t look very appealing. Though it seems very odd though that people would leave gaps like that, so maybe something got distorted/corrupted along the way.
I don’t have context for what the map is for, I don’t know what standard to judge it by.
But off the bat it looks like they randomly assembled the roads and then filled in the spaces with duplicate buildings. Nothing stands out, nothing tells players that a certain location is where they can do stuff. The roads aren’t being used effectively I’d say.
It looks like the only thing players do with the map is stand on it.
Whatever you want your next map to be like you need to plan it out in detail.
