What should I do with my gun engine?

I recently made a gun engine but I forgot about the most important part when working on it, which is what I really wanna do with it.

I pretty much put my blood, sweat, and tears into making another engine for no reason.

I just want some ideas. anything. my mind is completely blank and I just need a little push yk?

If you had fun making it, then that’s good. You could build a game off of it, make it a community resource so others can use it, or could put it in your portfolio.

I don’t know too much about them, but it felt like a good gun system. The UI could be improved. The map was good enough I’d say. Too many walls imo, it’s like a maze. Shooting, switching guns, etc. Most things felt a bit off. Maybe different animations, timing, or something would help that.

Thanks for the feedback. Ill probably figure out a game to use it in a few weeks or so maybe.

And about the shooting what felt off?
Was thinking maybe how I handle bullets server side probably causing delay with your internet.

For the shooting, it felt like bullets weren’t going were my cursor was if that makes sense. The camera movement also felt too harsh. Those two things might be connected, but yeah, might have also just been internet issues on my end.

I shot at the wall with the shotgun while I was close to it, caused EXTREME lag. Possibly cause of the ParticleEmitters.
The recoil is large, maybe tone that down.
All in all, it’s a pretty great gun system.
