What should I do with the time players have in between games?

I am making a round based game so players will pick a map and play in the game for 5-10 minutes then once it ends the teams reset and they pick a new map. What I am wondering is should I make a lobby where players can walk around in in between rounds or what I have seen newer games doing is just making a menu so that when the game ends they are just in a menu. They are probably some pros and cons to each one so I was just wondering what you guys think.

I think you should just have a lobby players can wait in with smaller minigames inside. It makes the waiting process a lot better.

I don’t think I’ve seen a game with a menu, can you show me an example of a game please so I can get a better understanding.

Edit: Do you mean as in games like arsenal where you just click play?

Yes that is what I mean here is another example

I guess it completely depends on the game your trying to make, if it’s like minigames then I would recommend just having a lobby. If it’s more of a fast-pace action type I would go for a menu.
