What Should I Put In the Empty Space?

So right now I am working on a boardwalk build, and I want the focal point to be on the ice cream shop. I want to have some generic-ish buildings, but I can’t decide what I want to put in the space.

also feedback would be appreciated

When making environments you want to match your buildings to your setting. For example on a beach you would make a sunglass shop and a fishing shop. If this was in a city, maybe a barbecue restaurant and a coffee shop.

You could have the area behind filled with trees, and the sides filled with small commercial shops like @Diamond_Plus1 suggested.

Another option would be simply making a terrain. You know, rocks, grass, water, etc. They would be low poly, of course, to go with the style of your ice cream shop.

Speaking of low poly I dont think the tree fits well with the scene

This depends on what the theme your scene sets in park boardwalk’s doesn’t need to be placed with a bunch of details. Boardwalk areas whether it features around beaches - parks or cities it has that sort of simplistic basic design, try placing a few smaller building structures around with a variety of styles and shapes such as plants, outdoor objects featuring their product if necessary.

If you still need some objects to fill in the empty spaces I would, definitely look at existing builds or images of the things that you are trying to create. Doing this will give you some ideas and inspiration and something to get ideas from.

At the moment boardwalks feature normally different building structures you could even throw little vegetation here and there.

Love your building skills :grinning:! I will suggest like a weather system.

Thanks y’all! I will probably update the post after I’m finished with building the rest of the buildings.
