What should my next development steps be in Roblox?

Hello. I don’t know what my next step should be in Roblox.

I have worked on a few animation commissions since that’s what I started on when learning game development which gave me a decent sum of robux to advertise my future projects.

My current situation is this:
I’ve been working on a huge horror game for almost 3 years but barely made any progress with it (mostly due to my own slow work). So, I started working on a small simulator game to help get some funds and hopefully start making faster progress in my bigger game with a bigger team. I’ve learned so much more about scripting and UI creation when making this simulator game that the horror game now seems much easier than it was. With the simulator game close to being halfway finished in less than a month I don’t know exactly my next step.

My main debate is whether or not to advertise the simulator game. I’ve seen a lot of games fail and I don’t want to waste my funds on something destined to fail.
I’ve also thought about returning to working on the horror game but it would take many more months to complete and I don’t want to lose my momentum on the current game.

I rlly don’t know what category to put this in.

Finish and publish the simulator first. Simulator games are common so for one to get enough attention to earn robux would require either standing out or dumping lots of Robux into sponsorships. Only you can truly answer this question but compared to 10 random other simulator games on Roblox. How is your unique

It’s not really unique rather than not being just a training simulator or speed simulator. I’ve only really seen one other game with the same idea.
How much robux do you mean by dumping?

Games that don’t have much replay ability value and don’t stand out rely on sponsorships to keep players coming in and hopefully earning what they spent on ads back.

In the tens of thousands of Robux easily, usually more
