Adobe Lightroom and or Photoshop.
Check adobe.com for tons of info.

If I was you I would just try and fix blender, There’s no other really good free alternative to blender. Also I’m not sure if RayAnimate even read the post but I wouldn’t get Lightroom or photoshop if you’re just starting gfx plus its not a render engine, just a image editor.

RayAnimate, I need a software to use to Render my GFXs.

I use PIXLR.X to edit my GFX’S and do mostly anything with it, the program has 2 different editors to choose from. Keep in mind that PIXLR.X is a basic editing program and a few features are limited.

PIXLR.X:

  • It is a basic editor, it is very easy to navigate and use
  • It is meant for beginners and has a few features

PIXLR.E

  • Is an editor for people who are experienced in complex photo editing
  • it is a little hard to use but can be learnt easily

For my rendering, I prefer to use Cinema4D (C4D) for all of my 3D modeling and character rendering. I’ve never gotten big on using Blender but that’s still fantastic software. After I get my renderings, I use Adobe Photoshop for my effects/photo manipulations.

If you want to see somewhat an example/tutorial, you can check this forum post I replied to. The link also shows some of my art and how I implement that different software.

C4D isn’t free but if you really want to get into it, you could try to find some tutorials on YouTube on how to get it. I wouldn’t recommend to do that since piracy is illegal but definitely watch different videos of people using the program before you purchase it. If you’re in college, you might be able to get a student discount. You also lowkey need a strong computer to use this program or any other rendering software. But since blender is free, might as well just stick with it.

Yeah, I’m just gonna try to fix blender. I have enough money but I don’t think it is worth my time I just wanted to make a few GFXs for myself nothing big. Plus I’m not in college yet

If your having a sort of problem with the software, it’s best to ask questions related to that on the blender forum. As for answering your question; there’s number of free alternative software out there instead it’s best to research these related questions as it will provide you with many results.

As common recommended software (Inkscape - Gimp - paintnet). Are all free alternatives normally for creating anything which can lead down to 2D art, logos, icons ect. Of course there are other free programs out there, you just need to find ones that your comfortable using as everyone software has a learning curve.
