i just want to know what the different between union and mesh
and is that really union making lag?
Unions are BasePart that were created by CSG engine, either from separating, cropping, merging etc. done directly without any software involved
MeshParts in other hands are created from any Graphical software and usually formatted with obj or fbx, it can’t be edited by CSG as it becomes specialized
The reason we don’t use Union is because of unnecessary polygons that it creates, we cannot reduce or control it’s polygons which comes with more rendering costs except for the meshes, for the MeshPart because it is the model file created from other software, we can edit it’s verticals and polygons as the tools used are capable of doing that.
